Faisal Devji is a historian who specializes in studies of Islam, globalization, violence and ethics. Born in Tanzania to a family of western Indian origin, Devji is interested in Indian political thought as well as that of modern Islam. his broader concerns have to do with ethics and violence in a globalized world.
