Milad Roshani Payan is a researcher in the field of philosophy, art, and literature. He is a graduate of Tehran University of Art with a master’s degree in Philosophy of Art. In addition to several research papers, he published his first book, Cinema and Death: On Image and Immortality, in 2018, and the following year won Iran’s most important cultural award, Best Book of the Year. His second book, Utopia in Black Romanticism, a philosophical reading of American literature, will be published soon.
