Pablo Emilio Aguilar Reyes is a theorist, architect and designer writing from Mexico City. His areas of study include the modern and contemporary critical traditions, architecture theory, as well as the history and conceptual implications of the built environment. Besides studying towards a Certificate in Critical Philosophy at The New Center, Reyes is also completing a Masters in Critical Theory at Mexico City-based 17, Institute for Critical Studies (17, Instituto de Estudios Críticos) with a focus on 20th-century philosophy and psychoanalysis. He writes for Mexican architecture magazine Arquine and is the founder of an upcoming platform focused on showcasing peer-to-peer and institutional formative activities.
