Artemis Papachristou

Artemis Papachristou is an architect and a creator based in London. She studied Architecture at the University of Thessaly in Greece. She holds an MA in Situated Practice from The Bartlett School of Architecture where she also worked in the AIS programme. She has worked, exhibited and been awarded in various places (Karim Rashid office in New York, Amphibious Habitats exhibition in Malaga, Honorable mentions for her diploma project Museum for/of Everyday Use by Library Illustrazioni among others). In 2017 she represented Greece in the Mediterranean 18 Young Artist Biennale. She has given lectures on future potential nomadic patterns due to climate change at institutions like the New School (NYC,2020) and the Bartlett School of Architecture (London,2021). She is a former student of the New Centre for Research and Practice and she is currently researching the future of human inhabitation in the post geo-engineering and post climate change era.
