M. S. Yániz is an art critic and speculative essayist based in Mexico. His work focuses on art and desire under capitalism. He coordinated dossiers on philosophy and contemporary art and has written for Terremoto, Tierra Adentro, GASTV, among other publications. He is currently writing a book on narrative machines at the boundaries of art and politics under neoliberalism. Yániz is a Certificate Student at The New Center for Research & Practice.
